TweetGrade is a simple web service that grades your Twitter account from ‘F’ to ‘A+’. The grade mechanism is based on your influence and interaction with the Twitter community, the frequency of your updates, and their content.

The tool can be used to identify spam and bot accounts. Pretty similar to TweetBlocker. Good Twitter account have high grades. Mine is ‘A’, what’s your?

FakeFollowers is a web Twitter service that tells which followers of yours are fake! A great tool for blocking spam twitter accounts.

Similar to what we reviewed before: TweetBlocker and TwitBlock.

FakeFollowers uses criteria to figure fake users like if the users has over 99.0% of his/her tweets contain a hyperlink or if it never sent a tweet. The good thing about FakeFollowers it shows you why it thinks a certain twitter account is fake. Big difference than TweetBlocker and TwitBlock.

The results show you the percentage of the fake followers of total followers and allows you to block them easily.

Itsabot is website that keeps looking for bots accounts in twitter. The website lists last found bots but it doesn’t provide any means to search for bots!

TweetBlocker helps in identifying the spammers in your followers. It’s very simple, just provide a twitter username and TweetBlocker will check its tweets and rank the user with a grade from A to F. Or you can login and it will check all your followers for spam tweets.

The application is pretty similar to TwitBlock app. The big advantage of using TweetBlocker is its ranking for the twitter users (A to F) rather than saying a twitter account is a spam or not as TwitBlock (which is not accurate all the time).

TwitBlock finds out how many of your followers are spammers. It gives the option to analyze specific twitter account or all your followers. Great tool to get rid of twitter spam and block their users!

Bot Database is another project by the Twitter Tag Project. This project brings a new idea to the table – collecting all of the known “Bots” on Twitter in one directory. Eventually, once they have a good list of bots, they will build a cool app that lets you block/unfollow bots from your Twitter account.

TwitterSnooze lets you snooze your friends who just won’t be quiet. Just type in your username and password, along with the name of the person you want to snooze, and click “Snooze”. The only bad part is, if you un-snooze that person, Twitter will send them an email that says you’re now following them again.
