Flyar is an interactive Twitter screensaver based on Augmented Reality and gesture interaction technologies using your webcam for capturing motions. The application is so funny and lets feel the real noise of Twitter

It’s difficult to explain this visualization project .. just watch!

Flyar only runs on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 and requires .NET 3.5 framework SP1, updated DirectX drivers, Visual C++ 2005 and 2008 Redistributable SP1, and of course, a webcam.

Flitter is an awesome Windows screensaver for Twitter and Flickr. It’s free and open-source app built with .NET framework. The screensaver is highly configurable, you can watch the last tweets or pics from the public timeline of Twitter or Flickr, or watch specific users. You can also watch your Twitter and Flickr network.

To install the screen saver, you need to right click on the Flitter.scr file and choose “Install” from the menu.

Pocketwit is a free open-source Twitter client for Windows Mobile devices (PocketPCs and SmartPhones.) with number of functions. The application is open-source under MIT license and built with .NET 2.0 compact platform.

The application has number of notable features like updating your location (requires GPS), grouping your friends, multiple accounts supporting, sharing images using different photo sharing services (TwitPix, Yfrog…), taking and uploading a photo from your mobile camera, and long tweeting using shorttext.com. It supports identi.ca accounts as well.

Quitter is a command line Twitter client for geeks!! It’s built using .NET framework and works on Windows. Although it’s a command line app, it has many features like grouping, filters, URL shortening .. and of course, shortcut!

It’s open-sourced and available on Google code . The app also provides a Twitter API for VB.NET named TwitterVB.

The ultimate Twitter client for geeks I wish if it is recompiled with Mono framework to work on Linux!

Witty 2.1 is a free and open source Windows twitter client built on .NET and powered by the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). The application requires the last .NET framework 3.5.

Ability to temporary ignore all tweets from specific users!	Right bottom popup notifications for new tweets. They get very annoying fulling your desktop when you there are many notifications at the same time (like Tweetie on mac)

Ability to change the theme
Supports twitter usernames auto-completion and correcting spelling mistakes
