Tinker lets you follow certain event streams happening on Twitter. For example, you can follow the American Idol event stream and then your Tinker home page will be updated with tweets about American Idol (similar to your homepage on Twitter).

Of course, you can also easily create your own event about anything you want. Just enter a title and description, along with keywords and some other options.
