Xobni is a sidebar application for Microsoft Outlook that can show recent tweets for people that email you. Simply click on an email in Outlook and the sidebar updates to show you a list of possible Twitter IDs for that person. Once you choose their ID, you can view, retweet, and reply to their tweets. You can also tweet from within the Xobni sidebar at any time.

Great simple way to connects with your Outlook contacts with Twitter.

TweetBeep is a web Twitter app similar to Google Alerts service but for tweets. You can create alerts for specific words and if these words tweeted, TweetBeep will send you an email alerting you of those tweets. TweetBeep uses exactly the same criteria of Twitter search and you can get an RSS feed for each alert.

You can use TweetBeep for free but with limited services. Or you can upgrade you account to get more. Currently there are four types of accounts:

Qwitter is a simple web Twitter service that sends you an email when someone has unfollowed you. The service it great but it hasn’t work for months! It sometimes back to work then stops again. Bad for a great service.

TwitterTime is a simple way to schedule your tweets to be posted at a certain time via the website, email, or SMS. For example, if you are going to be away for dinner at 6:00PM, you can schedule your tweet to be posted at 6:00PM and say something like, “I am out to dinner. I’ll be back around 7:30PM”. Topify is a service that enhances the Twitter notification system. So, when you get an email that someone is following you, all you have to do is reply to the email to follow them back. Also, when you receive a Direct Message notification, you can reply to it by replying to the email.
